Can we please share out the admin powers please I'm not happy at the amount of legging it gay game box kids that are rushing about. I don't think anybody has heard of the word T A C T I C A L give me the power of GOD and they'll not last long. I'd rather play on my own than as it was last night. I left and went playing on some mates clans servers who both play S&D that did appear to be more calm at least I wasn't being attacked from any and every which way. So that'll be me and MS who would like to try S&D on our server then.

Last night the Green server was little more than GAMEBOX ARENA it needs to and must change into the promised Tactical server we discussed.
What do I need to do to get ADMIN RIGHTS, I'll kick all baduns off the server straight away and will have none of this, THATS UR LAST WARNING said multiple times.

Its hard to make all players play tactical.
Also, the server side of ranked doesnt help.

Only thing for now is, make a regular based group on there,
And then force the rules.

A thing we now can do is:
Label are always in both teams cause you cant siwtch team .....
So, to make it better to control, we can do on each map when it starts, a objective.
Like hold/capture beach or C3 and C4 etc Or kick.

This way you need to go as team towards the objective to take it over or to defend it.

So lets try it this way, and follow the objective.
After 1 or 2 weeks, allot of players are used to the game, and tactical returns in the gameplay, cause everyone allready saw weapon and all things.


This can work, only we need the help of all labels and regulars ingame to control the teams and the objectives.

Also, ranked servers sucks.

Its excatly the same as cod6.
We can only kick, put console in and choose gametype.
We cant even change spawn time or change to next map.

The best thing is, when all labels are lvl 50, that we go to unranked.
We have allweapons and things then on lvl 50.
And with unranked servers you can do all what you can do with cod4 aswell.

Like spawn time, next map and etc etc, so all we need is on a unranked server.

I'm right on the minimum limit for cpu but miles over on all else.

So dedicated server isn't then JJ???

You cant expect everything to go smooth from the first second.

First there are some problems that need to be solved before you start yelling 'TACTICAL' what the hell did you expect? (didnt read JJ's post so sorry if i repeat some stuff)

1.We first of all need to figure out how we can make reserved slots, so we can manage how many people can play on the server (just like cod4)
As long as we can't limit the amount of players, chaos will keep coming.
18 (or 16) is just too FUCKING much.
It should be 10, then it will be much more easy to manage.

2. We need to figure out how to kick by console ingame, because going to desktop to kick people can make it so that you lose connection to the server and thus need to rejoin.

RANKED DOES NOT SUCK, THE OPTIONS TO MANAGE WILL COME AVAILABLE OVER SOME TIME. IT SHOULD BECOME THE EXACT SAME THING AS OUR COD4 SERVER.

We might need a vote on the Game Type ingame, Because I do not agree to change it to SnD only.

Also the lags need to be solved, and they will. Give it time.
Especcially for an online game it is more then normal to expect such problems in the beginning of a release. They are probably working their ass of to fix us updates.
It is always easy to complain as a player if you are to ignorant to understand what work is behind it. No offense meant, but i get pissed on that subject.

I have to agree alittle with all of you - Now as you know I am no techie but I found with BBC thta there were many problems in the early stages just like MW2 and now BO! NOT!

I really hope that there are other ways to control the number of players and also the type of game play. I have just about had enough of spawn-die-lag and a team speak server full of levelling up mofo's

It was just the same with MW2 and I for one would rather not play at all until we have some form of equalibrium sorted to make it enjoyable again!

IMHO it should not matter what the producers give us if we stick to our cod4 server rules - the one thing we can do straight away (correct me if I am wrong) is password the server! This will restrict the number of players on it emmediately? yes or no!?

If it is just GL players then we know the rules and will work towards levelling up in our own time.

I give it a little while longer to see and then I think if there are no changes I will go into temporary retiremement until I get a phonecall to say it is "all ok now" This will be a shame because I have really enjoyed gaming with you lot - I am just not interested in any more run and gun shit!

I'll not play the green server then prefering to do the sp for now and play s&d else where.

AS I said IT'S NOT GOT DEDI SERVERS JIM well not as we know it.
Sounds as if when u put a server up its steam who control it not us.
FFS we can't easily kick -- we can't change map -- we can't change game type to suit -- wot a load of shite.

My own fault I suppose but I thought by buying the disc I would avoid all contact with steam, how wrong am I.

Within a couple of weeks it will change.
Cause its the ebgin of a release.
And its hard to make rules.
We alredy creatring tactical regulars on cod7, so with some time we have allot
And then most of the time those players are on the server
we need to get those players there and keep them.
If it works we have a new tct 1.

So its up to all of us labels and non labels.
Just type allot ingame, talk allot ingame, and kick if u can.

And yes its hrad we just want to play, ofcourse.
BUT we want to play on a gl tact server, so we all need to make.
Its logical that it is not here on release.
So lets build it, and after a month, if it still sucks then, then we can take steps to make big changes and see if cod7 is a gl thing.

I must say last night was the best I've played on our server.
I can only put it down to the patch but all though there were still some gobby little shit-heads running about they were more manageable.

I was seriously considering giving up on pc gaming if this pre-patch was the future but maybe post-patch this is a first step in the right direction.
Just need to get proper dedi server controls sorted, now that would be good.

seems like i spoke too soon.
i pulled out of our server because of rush play.

I've been playing on other servers and suggest that we try some other game types.
the worst servers out there are the tdm ones. Those with some game structure seem better ie HQ or S&D or CTF at least it seems to help with general teamplay. I haven't played any other types but HQ was good on a couple of servers.

this might be worth a go on our server.

SnD is quite good aswel, i played a couple rounds on another server last night,
and it all went as expected.

we need to warn people before we kick tho', because we cant kick with a reason, for now. And for the possible steady players, it is also good to know why they have been kicked.

all is still in progress, but slowly it falls into place.
